Cox Trophy and Minor Trophy

These cup competitions are normally held at the end of the regular season in May/June. Telepost B finished as runners up in the Cox Trophy. Results for the Cox Trophy here. Results for the Minor Trophy here. For the 2023-24 season these competitions will be held during the regular season.

Shropshire Quickplay

Normally held in the summer. In 2023, Telepost finished second, losing on board count to Newport in the final.

Individual Competitions

Telepost members regularly compete in a variety of individual competitions run by Shropshire Chess Association:
Shropshire Individual Championship is a seven-round Swiss for all Shropshire players. The Shropshire Minor Individual is a seven-round Swiss for players graded below 1640. The Shrewsbury Town Championship is a five-round Swiss which runs in the summer months.
