Club night this week moved to Monday 22 July
For one week only, our club night this week will be Monday 22 July and we will not be open on Wednesday 24 July. This is because of work being carried out at the club. Back to normal the following week – ie club night will be Wednesday 31 July.

AGM reaches historic decision

Newport rivalry rejoined with a new generation

Congratulations to Telepost players Shane Greenwood, Alex Brims and John Casewell – joint winners of the U1700 section of the 2023 Shrewsbury Town Championship. Juniors in county action
Telepost Juniors have featured in a national online competition, representing Shropshire in the ECF Junior Online Under 13 Championship. Rudi Bedford, Ellis Sharp and Merry Curtis all won as Shropshire took their first match against Hampshire 4-0. Telepost players made a superb showing in this year’s Shropshire Chess Congress, held at Wrekin Housing Trust from 12-14 Jan. 150 entrants competed in four sections and Telepost had 14 players spread across the tournament.
